Coachella 2020 has been officially cancelled, says Public Health Commissioner

The announcement has been made that Coachella 2020 and its country music counterpart, Stagecoach, will not be taking place as scheduled. The official cancellation order was issued by the public health officer of Riverside County, California on Wednesday evening, June 10. Earlier in March, the organizers had announced a delay until October. However, the public health officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser expressed concerns about a potential COVID-19 spike and the difficulty in tracking attendees at the festivals, which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from various countries.
