Clark urges Tinubu to act on 2014 Confab Report

In a meeting with a 10-member Igbo delegation led by former Police Service Commission chairman Simon Okeke at his residence in Abuja, Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum leader Edwin Clark called on President Bola Tinubu to promptly execute the decisions of the 2014 national conference.

Emphasizing the importance of national unity, Clark advised against making appointments based on ethnicity, cautioning that doing so could lead to harmful consequences for the nation.

He asserted that implementing the confab report could play a significant role in bringing the country together.

Clark expressed, “Implementing the 2014 National Conference Report swiftly by President Bola Tinubu will aid in reuniting the Igbos, restoring them to their former status pre-civil war.”

He also encouraged the Igbos to work together cohesively to achieve their aspirations.
