A social media user recently criticized Big Brother Naija reality star and actress-turned-rapper, Venita Akpofure for her semi-nude appearance in her latest rap video, ‘Gen Z Cypher’ alongside Magnito.
Venita had posted a snippet of the video featuring her in revealing attire on her X account, which led to the user expressing disapproval in the comments section.
The individual suggested that Venita, a mother of three, should not be displaying nudity in such a manner.
In response, Venita explained that she was inspired by her role model, Beyoncé, who is also a mother of three but often wears bodysuits during performances and has achieved immense success.
She stated, “I am not ashamed, please keep your shame to yourself. I will continue to follow in the footsteps of Beyoncé, who, like me, is a mother of three, performs in bodysuits, and is a celebrated billionaire. I choose to go hard = Venita. You can choose to go home.”
