Chioma Rowland disputes allegations of domestic violence with Davido

Chioma Rowland, the fiancee of singer, Davido, has addressed rumors regarding alleged violence between herself and Davido.

"Never has there ever been an incident of abuse in my home" Chioma Rowland reacts to allegations of domestic violence between her and Davido

Rumors recently surfaced on social media claiming that the singer had sustained a leg injury following a dispute with Chioma at their Lekki residence. According to speculations, the couple had a quarrel after Chioma discovered Davido had allegedly fathered another child with a different woman.

However, Chioma has discredited these claims of domestic violence. In a recent Instagram post on June 16, she stated that such allegations are unfounded and emphasized that no such incident has ever occurred and will never occur. Below is an excerpt from her statement:

“I am aware of the tendency for blogs and the internet to spread various rumors and stories for entertainment, but I have refrained from responding to bloggers or engaging in online conflicts as it has never been my nature to involve myself in such matters. However, I find it necessary to address the distressing rumors of domestic abuse between myself and David. Domestic violence and abuse is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. There has never been an incident of abuse in my home. He has never laid a hand on me, and I have never even pushed him. Whether offline or online, we should exercise caution when discussing matters we know nothing about. I am uncertain of the origin of these stories, but I want to assure everyone, whether genuine or fabricated, that such events have never occurred and will never occur. Furthermore, we do not take allegations of abuse lightly, and if they persist, we will take legal action against those responsible for spreading these despicable rumors. To the young women out there, never allow a man to harm you while remaining silent. If you experience such mistreatment, speak up! Given the current state of the world, we cannot tolerate or encourage women to tolerate such behavior! Love, Chioma”.
