Contestant Chinwe from Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ season has refuted claims that she sponsored her boyfriend, Zion, to participate in the show.
It was reported that tensions flared on Thursday when Chinwe accused Zion of not standing by her during a confrontation with fellow housemates, Onyeka and Chizoba.
During a conversation with DJ Flo on Thursday, Chinwe mentioned that she facilitated their entry into the show. She later expressed regret for not bringing her bestie along instead of Zion.
However, during Sunday night’s eviction show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Chinwe about her alleged sponsorship of Zion to the house.
“Why did you claim that you sponsored Zion to be on the show?” Ebuka questioned.
In response, Chinwe denied ever making such a statement, clarifying that she meant she was a source of encouragement for Zion since he was initially hesitant about joining the Biggie’s house.
