Chinese company makes available presidential jet for Tinubu’s journey to France

One of the Nigerian Airbus A330 aircraft that were previously held in France under a court order from a Paris judicial court has been released by Chinese firm Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd.

A report by The Punch mentioned that the company had impounded a Dassault Falcon 7X, a Boeing 737-7N6/BBJ, and an Airbus A330-243 owned by the Nigerian federal government, which were stationed at Paris-Le Bourget and Basel-Mulhouse airports.

In a statement released on Friday, the firm declared that the release of one of the confiscated jets was a “goodwill gesture” in anticipation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s forthcoming meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The company stated that President Tinubu will have permission to utilize the Airbus A330, currently held in France due to the French court order secured by Zhongshan, for his journey to France. READ MORE
