French superstar Kylian Mbappé has officially signed with Real Madrid, with the 25-year-old forward set to wear the iconic white jersey for the next five seasons. Expressing his joy in a recent post, Mbappé described the move as a dream come true.
In his post, Mbappé said, “A dream comes true, So happy and proud to join the club of my dream @RealMadrid. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. Go Madrid.”
Real Madrid’s official statement confirmed the agreement, stating, “03/06/2024 Real Madrid C.F. and Kylian Mbappé have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.”
Reports from Le Parisien revealed that Mbappé, known as one of the best finishers globally, will start by wearing the number 9 shirt at Real Madrid. The report also mentioned that he will switch to the number 10 shirt currently held by Luka Modrić after the Croatian’s departure in 2025.
Prior to this announcement, Mbappé removed any mention of his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, from his Instagram bio, confirming his departure. His profile now reflects his status as a Real Madrid player.
