Chief Clark Calls Out Yahaya Bello’s Governance Record

During an appearance on Arise Television, Chief Edwin Clark, the elder statesman and leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, urged former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello to submit himself to the authorities.

Clark highlighted that Bello’s tenure as governor was marked by allegations of corruption and instances of political violence.

He noted that Bello, known for his obstinance, had overseen a troubled administration characterized by maladministration, financial impropriety, and incidents of violence during elections.

In reference to the need for accountability, Clark emphasized the importance of Bello addressing the sources of his wealth, especially in relation to funds used for personal expenses like school fees.

Commenting on the current political dynamics in Kogi State, the elder statesman suggested that the behavior of the current Governor, Ahmed Ododo, indicated that Bello was still exerting influence from behind the scenes.

Clark expressed hope that Ododo would take appropriate actions to ensure that the youths of the nation are provided with better opportunities and a more promising future.
