Chidozie Awaziem Joins Super Eagles Squad in Place of Injured Jamilu Collins

In the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique, Boavista defender Chidozie Awaziem has been called up to replace the injured Jamilu Collins.

Awaziem is the third player to be added as a late replacement for the friendlies.

Tyrone Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq were brought in on Sunday night to fill the spots of Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi, who are currently playing for Nottingham Forest.

This season, Awaziem has been a regular feature in Boavista’s lineup.

The Super Eagles camp for the games will commence on Tuesday.

On Friday, Jose Peseiro’s team will play against Saudi Arabia in Portimao, Portugal.

The friendly against Mozambique will take place three days later.
