Friday saw Chelsea confirming that forward Diego Moreira has officially transferred to RC Strasbourg.
In a statement on their website before their upcoming Premier League match against Manchester City, Enzo Maresca’s side revealed the news.
Chelsea’s statement expressed gratitude to Diego for his valuable contributions during his time with the club and extended well wishes as he embarks on the next phase of his career.
Moreira had been on loan at Lyon for the first part of last season.
Having joined Chelsea in July 2023 from Benfica, the Portugal Under-21 international made his first-team debut in the 2023/24 season’s Carabao Cup match against AFC Wimbledon.
