In a recent statement, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca suggested that Conor Gallagher might be on the verge of leaving the club.
Atletico Madrid has expressed their interest in acquiring Gallagher.
Negotiations are in progress for the talented England midfielder, with a proposed deal valued at a minimum of €35 million, including add-ons.
“Conor is expected to rejoin us at Cobham in the coming days for training,” Maresca revealed.
Regarding the ongoing transfer window, Maresca emphasized, “The transfer market is open, and anything is possible, not just for Conor but for all our players.”
Reports also suggest that Tottenham Hotspur is keeping an eye on Gallagher’s situation.
