Charly Boy: New Beginnings for EndBadGovernance Protest

Renowned entertainer and activist Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, expressed his belief that the first day of the nationwide EndBadGovernance protest marked just the beginning of their efforts.

According to Charly Boy, Nigerians must persist in exerting pressure until the government acknowledges the shifting attitudes among the populace.

He emphasized that the protest served as a confirmation that many Nigerians have awakened to the stark reality that the government is indifferent to their plight.

The protest garnered significant turnout across various states on Monday as Nigerians took to the streets.

In response to the events of the protest, Charly Boy shared on X: “Brave, resilient, and resolute Nigerian youths, you have made me proud today.

“Firstly, congratulations on a well-executed job. However, our journey has just begun.

“As more of us arise from our slumber to realize that the government neglects us, disregards us, we refuse to stand for those who won’t stand for us. We must persist in our fight to reclaim our stolen prospects.

“Let’s maintain the momentum because this oppressive government must recognize the changing tide. They can never feel secure again unless they prioritize the necessary actions.

“The future of Nigeria rests in the hands of its exceptional youths. I salute you all.”
