A group of armed individuals has entered the Ixtapa prison, in the city of Puerto Vallarta, and has freed an undetermined number of prisoners in the context of the riots unleashed after the fall of the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, alias ‘El Mencho’, killed this Sunday in a military operation.
