Challenges Faced by Law Enforcement in Apprehending Criminals

In their efforts to combat criminal activities across Nigeria, the Nigeria Police Force has acknowledged the ongoing nature of their crime control initiatives.

Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, highlighted the difficulties law enforcement encounters in apprehending all criminals simultaneously.

Addressing public expectations, Adejobi stated on Friday via X that, “We can’t arrest all criminals at once,” urging recognition of the progress being made.

He further added, “Acknowledge the ones we have successfully apprehended. We make daily arrests in significant numbers.”

In response to a post depicting gunmen with large sums of cash, the PRO emphasized the continued collaborative efforts of the police and armed forces in combating crime.

Highlighting the necessity for a united front against insecurity in Nigeria, Adejobi emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach while reassuring the public of the force’s dedication to justice.

“The armed forces and police are putting in their best efforts. The public should recognize, acknowledge, and appreciate the security forces’ endeavors,” he affirmed.

Adejobi emphasized the need for collective action and individual participation in addressing insecurity and other criminal activities in Nigeria, ensuring that no criminal will evade justice.
