A group of suspected teenage robbers cried out for mercy as they were subjected to torture following their alleged involvement in a robbery in Ikotun, Lagos.
On Monday night, April 13, residents of Igando and Ikotun in Lagos State were filled with fear as reports indicated that robbers had gone from house to house.
This incident occurred just a day after residents of Iyana-Ipaja in Lagos had a similar encounter, prompting them to raise awareness on Twitter using the hashtag #Lagosunrest.
In response, the residents of Ikotun took matters into their own hands, capturing some teenagers and subjecting them to torture.
A video from the scene depicted the teenagers crying and pleading for mercy as they were flogged and tortured with a hot rod.
Someone in the video claimed that one of the suspects was only 14 years old.
