Captain of Team Nigeria at Paris 2024 Olympics, Opeyori, poised to take on badminton challengers

Expressing his eagerness to vie for glory at the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Nigeria’s renowned badminton player, Anuoluwapo Opeyori, is prepared for the challenge ahead.

Opeyori is set to kick off his pursuit of a medal as he goes head-to-head against Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi at La Chapelle Arena on Tuesday.

Taking to social media, the athlete shared his excitement and readiness for the impending showdown with Kuenzi.

“Tomorrow marks the first matchday at the 2024 Paris Olympics at 6:30pm C.A.T. My enthusiasm is palpable as I gear up to give my all in this competition,” Opeyori conveyed.

“I am thrilled for my inaugural match at the Paris 2024 Olympics, as it is a momentous privilege to represent Nigeria. I have devoted my time and effort to training rigorously every single day and night, and I take immense pride in this representation,” Opeyori articulated.

Having previously debuted at the Olympics in Tokyo four years ago, the 27-year-old is poised to make his mark once again on this prestigious stage.
