Call for Sacrifice to Advance Nigeria – Tinubu

During the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu highlighted the importance of caring for neighbors and practicing charity to all in society as a way to foster unity and progress in Nigeria.

After the Eid-el-Kabir prayers in Lagos, Tinubu stressed the necessity for a certain level of sacrifice in order to propel the nation towards development.

Reflecting on the Chief Imam’s message, Tinubu emphasized the significance of sacrifice in citizenship. He underscored the responsibilities that come with being a citizen, including demonstrating love for the country, caring for neighbors, sharing resources, and expressing gratitude to the Almighty.

Earlier during the prayers, the Lagos Imam encouraged Muslim faithful to exhibit love, generosity, and compassion towards the less privileged in society.

Recalling the sacrifices made by past leaders like Sir Ahmadu Bello, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, and others, the Imam urged citizens to honor their legacy by contributing to the nation’s growth and development.

In conclusion, the Chief Imam prayed for strength and wisdom for the President as he works towards a better and prosperous Nigeria.
