Rangers captain confident ahead of CAF Champions League clash with US Zilimadjou – Ugwueze

With their focus set on the upcoming match against US Zilimadjou of Comoros, Rangers captain Ugwueze Chinemerem emphasized the team’s preparedness.

The NPFL champions, Rangers, will kick off their CAF Champions League campaign against the relatively underestimated US Zilimadjou at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Sunday.

After being absent from the continental competition for four years, the People’s Elephant are eager to make their mark.

Ugwueze expressed confidence in their readiness for the challenge, stating, “We have a lot of respect for our opponents, but we are fully equipped to achieve a positive outcome,” as reported by CAF online.

Meanwhile, Remo Stars, the other Nigerian team in the tournament, will face off against Moroccan side AS FAR in the preliminary round.
