One attack occurred on February 12, 2022, prompting him to report the incidents to the Agbor Police Command and mention officer “Duke Amerika” as the one informed about the “repeated robberies and assassination attempts” on him.

He mentioned that another armed attack followed shortly after.

Mouka claimed that on April 19, 2022, his property was burgled once again.

On that fateful day, he revealed that his business closed at 3 pm, and he retreated to the private section when another attack was launched on his property.

He indicated that a man named Happy Uboh allegedly broke into his property on this day and sent him a message before breaking in, informing him that he was sick. Mr. Mouka provided LIB with a screenshot of the message from Happy Uboh.

“I’m breaking down. I need medical attention so I had to go,” read the message from Happy Uboh to Mr. Mouka.

He mentioned that his staff did not allow the attackers entry, and he had no idea how they gained access to his compound.

“He wasn’t bleeding or wounded but I found him on the floor inside my premises,” Mr. Mouka said of Happy Uboh’s presence on his property.

He promptly sought help from neighbors and reported finding one of the alleged culprits to the Agbor police, only to be arrested on accusations of killing Happy Uboh after the police informed him of Happy’s death.

To LIB, he stated, “The police asked me to state an accidental discharge occurred, but I refused. They arrested me and falsified a claim of accidental discharge at Asaba Command, Delta State.”

He further alleged that just because he owns a “licensed firearm,” the police decided to frame him for “murder.”

He claimed to be the victim of multiple attacks from Happy Uboh and other armed men but is now being persecuted and treated as a criminal.

While in police custody, he received information that his property was allegedly burgled again by armed men on May 15, 2022, and provided photos of the extent of the damage done to LIB.

He asserted that he requested an investigation into the attack on his property while in police custody, but the police have refused to do so.

Mr. Mouka revealed that despite paying the required sum for bail, the police have refused to release him.

He expressed his desire for “justice and his freedom,” calling for the discharge of the case against him given “the circumstances indicating [him] being the victim of an attack at [his] private residence.”

He added, “I have been detained since April 19, 2022, without cause… The situation reflects I am not just a victim but the target of assassination, malicious damage to my property, and other forms of attacks.”

He is also urging the police to investigate further attacks on his property while he was in detention as well as the false allegation of “accidental discharge” leveled against him by the police in Agbor division.
