Reports from the Kenyan police indicate that a 36-year-old man from Bokisero-Nyabwari Village in Nyamira North Sub-County has been apprehended for the murder of his younger brother. The incident allegedly occurred after he caught his sibling engaging in sexual intercourse with their 55-year-old mother, Doria Moraa Nyachuba.
Apparently, Evans Mamboleo Nyachuba had gone to visit their mother around 8:30pm and discovered his 31-year-old brother, Fred Onsongo Nyachuba, in the act. He then proceeded to fatally injure his brother by smashing his face and the back of his head with a plank.
Philip Masenge, the chief of Bokisaba Location, has confirmed the arrest and detention of Mamboleo at the Ekerenyo police post. The deceased’s body has been taken to the Nyamira County Referral Hospital morgue.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by the police.
