Following their 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus commended the team’s performance.
The goal by Mats Hummels secured the victory at the Parc des Princes, with Dortmund advancing 2-0 on aggregate in the semi-final match. They are now set to face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the final.
Reflecting on the achievement in an interview with DAZN, Reus expressed his elation, saying, “After more than a decade, being in the final with Borussia again feels indescribable.”
He went on to credit the speed brought by Ousmane Dembele and Achraf Hakimi, highlighting the challenges they faced during the game.
Reus emphasized, “The manner in which we secured the win will not be questioned. The near misses and opportunities that hit the post will be insignificant. What truly matters is Borussia Dortmund’s unexpected advancement to the final. It is truly remarkable.”
