Boost for Rivers United with five players expected to feature in clash against USM Alger

It is anticipated that Ghanaian midfielder, Farouk Mohammed, will make a comeback for Rivers United in their upcoming second-leg quarter-final match against USM Alger.

Mohammed was absent from the first leg last week due to suspension.

He has been a consistent starter for the Pride of Rivers throughout this season.

Furthermore, Abba Suleiman, Victor Arikpo, Shedrack Asiegbu, and Chibuzor Eze-Ogbodo are all ready for selection after recovering from their injuries and are fit enough to play.

These players had also missed the first-leg game at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Rivers United will face USM Alger at the Stade du Juliet this Sunday.

The former Nigeria Premier Football League champions are currently leading with a 1-0 score as they head into this crucial game.
