Bola Tinubu takes a leave from Nigeria for relaxation

For weeks, Bola Tinubu, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been traveling across Nigeria to garner support for his 2023 presidential ambition. However, he has now left the country to take a much-needed rest.

According to a source within the former governor’s circle who spoke to Punch, Tinubu’s trip abroad is intended for him to spend time with his family, as well as to rest and consult with his doctors.

“He (Tinubu) travelled abroad to rest after going around the country for consultations. He travelled to rest and strategise,” the source revealed.

On January 10, Tinubu visited the State House in Abuja to meet with President Buhari, during which he publicly declared his aspirations to contest for the presidency in 2023.
