Following the passing of the Owa of Idanre kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre land, Oba Frederick Aroloye, President Bola Tinubu has expressed his sympathy to the people of Idanre, the government, and the residents of Ondo State.
A statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, saw the President eulogizing the first-class traditional ruler.
Tinubu praised the late monarch as someone who championed peace, prosperity, and development throughout his remarkable 48-year reign on the ancestral throne.
He remarked, “As we join the honorable people of Idanre in praying for the peaceful rest of the late monarch’s soul, it is evident that the legacy of Owa will endure, remembered for upholding the dignity of the throne and his unyielding dedication to the advancement of his subjects.”
The monarch peacefully passed away on Wednesday at the age of 102.
