Boboye Highlights Lack of Direction at Sunshine Stars

Speaking out about the current situation at Sunshine Stars Football Club, Kennedy Boboye, the Technical Adviser, pointed out the team’s lack of direction prior to the appointment of the Commissioner for Sports by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Formerly in charge of Akwa United, Boboye stressed that recent organizational changes within the club are aimed at repositioning the team for improved performance.

During a meeting with the new commissioner in Akure, the state capital, he commended the team’s progress in recent weeks.

Boboye praised Sunshine Stars supporters for their unwavering commitment and called on them to continue backing the team through this transitional phase.

In light of the suspension of the club’s general manager, Boboye expressed confidence in the team’s future under the new leadership.

“I’m delighted by your visit and impressed with the developments of the past few weeks,” Boboye expressed.

“Gradually, we are finding our direction because, since my appointment, the team has been lacking a clear path due to the absence of effective directives. Now, things are starting to fall into place,” he added.
