Blaming a Bayern player, Tuchel criticizes Min-Jae for causing draw with Real Madrid

Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, has pointed fingers at Kim Min-Jae for their 2-2 stalemate with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

The opening goal at Allianz Arena came as Vinicius Jr received Toni Kroos’ pass, which slipped behind Min-Jae.

Following goals from Leroy Sane and Harry Kane for the Bundesliga side, the defender fouled Rodrygo and conceded a penalty kick.

Subsequently, Vinicius Jr confidently scored his second goal from the spot past Manuel Neuer.

Addressing Min-Jae’s performance after the match, Tuchel remarked: “He displayed excessive ‘greed’ on two occasions.

“Initially, he made an ill-timed move against Vinicius for the opening goal, being caught out by Kroos’ pass. His speculative and overly aggressive approach cost us.

“Regrettably, the second goal also stemmed from another mistake.”
