According to NewsNow, preparations are underway for the 2024-25 Nigeria Women Football League season as Bayelsa Queens have resumed training.
Following the conclusion of the last season, the Prosperity Angels took a three-week break before getting back into action.
On Monday, Bayelsa Queens engaged in an intense training session at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
The team’s newly appointed head coach, Whyte Ogbonda, led the training proceedings.
Bayelsa Queens secured a third-place finish in the previous season and are gearing up for the upcoming challenges.
Organizers are yet to announce the official start date for the new NWFL season.
