Bauchi's new Coronavirus patients contracted the disease through community transmission

The Commissioner for Health in Bauchi state, Dr Aliyu Maigoro, has confirmed the presence of five new cases of Coronavirus in the state. These patients are believed to have contracted the virus through community transmission. The overall number of cases in the state has now reached 54, with six discharged cases and 47 active cases.

Dr Aliyu Maigoro specifically stated that the new cases did not involve any Almajiri, and that they originated from the community. This affirmation was made during an interview with The Nation.
