Barcelona introduces Arnau Blanco in place of Thiago Alcántara

It was announced by Barcelona on Friday that Arnau Blanco will be replacing Thiago Alcántara at the La Liga club.

Prior to this, Alcántara was appointed as the assistant to manager Hansi Flick at Barcelona.

However, in a recent statement on their official website, the Catalan club revealed that Blanco, a former U16A coach at Barcelona, will now be joining Flick’s coaching team as an assistant.

Barcelona’s statement read, “Arnau Blanco is the new addition to Hansi Flick’s coaching staff, taking over from Thiago Alcántara who had his final day with the squad on Friday, August 16.”

The statement also emphasized the club’s dedication to nurturing coaches within FC Barcelona for their professional growth.

Blanco has accumulated 11 seasons of experience within Barcelona’s youth system.
