A health worker and his brother were abducted by suspected bandits in Wusasa, Zaria local government area of Kaduna State
On Friday, August 25, 2023, the bandits arrived in the area around 9pm, fired shots to scatter the crowd, and then took away Yushau Peter of St. Lukes Hospital Wusasa and his brother, Joshua Peter.
Engineer Isiyaku Ibrahim, the village head of Wusasa, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust on Saturday.
“Our area has become a prime target for kidnappers, who frequently abduct many people,” he said.
Both Yushau and Joshua are natives of Ikara local government, who recently fled after bandits attacked their home and abducted their elderly father, Mr. Peter.
