Bandits allegedly kill 37 persons in Zamfara


Armed bandits have reportedly killed 37 persons in a village in Zamfara state.

 

According to a tweet by Kano based lawyer, Bulma Bukarti, the BBC reported that the survivors of the attack said the bandits operated for 8 hours, slaughtering their victims.

 

His tweet reads

”BBC Hausa reports that on Monday bandits killed 37 people in a Zamfara village. Survivors said they operated from 5am-1pm slaughtering their victims. They then looted shops & torched the village. On Tuesday, they went back & looted four neighbouring villages and burnt them down.”
