Portuguese club AVS Futebol SAD has secured the services of Babatunde Akinsola on a permanent basis.
Originally on loan from Spanish side Real Valladolid in January, Akinsola made an impact with one goal and one assist in 17 league appearances during the second half of the season.
Expressing his joy at signing the contract, Akinsola stated, “I’m thrilled to return. The past few months have been incredible, which has made my comeback smoother. I am confident in my ability to contribute to Liga Portugal and assist AVS in securing their position in the league. I am eager and motivated to begin this new chapter.”
