In preparation for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations, the Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed three thousand personnel to ensure maximum security.
According to ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, the spokesperson for the command, the personnel are selected from various specialized departments like Rapid Response, Special Armed Squad, Counter Terrorism, CNAI, Intelligence, Anti-Vandal, CBRNE, Operations, Disaster, and Medical units.
The deployment will encompass all public areas in the state, including government facilities, shopping centers, Eid grounds, durbar routes, places of worship, palaces, and bus stations.
CC Muhammad Danjuma, the State Commandant, has called on the public to follow the rule of law, cooperate with the security personnel, and promptly report any suspicious activities they may encounter.
