Ademola Lookman and Joe Aribo, two prominent players of the Super Eagles, had the pleasure of meeting NBA superstar, Jayson Tatum, during the NBA finals.
As the European season concluded in June, the Super Eagles footballers seized the chance to enjoy some leisure time.
Lookman recently participated in the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic, representing the Super Eagles.
The team faced a challenging 1-1 draw against Bafana Bafana at home in Uyo, and a disappointing 2-1 defeat to The Cheetahs in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
In the wake of these results, Lookman and Aribo decided to unwind by attending the NBA finals.
After the game, the Super Eagles players posed for a photo with the talented Boston Celtics player, Jayson Tatum, which he later shared on his Instagram.
This photo was taken following the Celtics’ 106-99 victory in game three of the NBA Finals. Tatum showcased an impressive performance, scoring 31 points, grabbing six rebounds, and providing five assists.
Both players are currently on vacation, utilizing this time to recharge for the upcoming season.
Looking ahead, Aribo aims to make a significant impact for Southampton in the Premier League next season, while Lookman, if he chooses not to join another team, is likely to return to Atalanta.
