Authorities have taken three individuals into custody in connection to the slaying of a pastor in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The victim, Evangelist Adegboyega, allegedly fell victim to a group of individuals believed to be Fulani herdsmen in Ogbomoso.
The incident took place in the Gege area, along the Ogbomoso-Iseyin road.
According to reports, the pastor confronted the herdsmen when they brought their cattle to graze on his crops, leading to his unfortunate demise.
Local residents apprehended three suspects and swiftly brought them to the palace of Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye.
Subsequently, they were handed over to the police for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been transferred to a private mortuary.
