According to a press release from the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, the suspect was detained on charges of criminal conspiracy, trespass, and armed robbery.

Wakil clarified, “The arrest was made following a distress call from a victim on August 2, 2024, who reported a break-in by four armed robbers wielding knives and cutlasses around 9:40 pm. The robbers made off with an Itel A70 mobile phone valued at N75,000 and a Huawei phone valued at N30,000.”
