Argentina vs Morocco match experiences chaotic restart following nearly two-hour delay

Witnessing a tumultuous Olympic men’s football encounter, the clash between Argentina and Morocco resumed after a near two-hour hiatus following what seemed to be the conclusion of the game in Saint-Etienne.

In the 16th minute of added time, Cristian Medina believed he had secured a 2-2 draw for Argentina, inciting a flood of spectators onto the pitch. However, subsequent to a prolonged delay, his goal was nullified by VAR due to an offside ruling.

Subsequently, following a brief return to action to play an additional three minutes of injury time, the referee ultimately brought the match to an end, granting Morocco a 2-1 victory.
