Appointment of Acting Chair of Revenue Service Board in Imo State

Governor Hope Uzodinma has appointed Remigius Justice Okoye as the Acting Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service, as announced by the Chief Press Secretary and media adviser.

The appointment of Mr. Okoye, a Chartered Institute of Accountants (FCA) fellow with extensive experience in accounting, is effective immediately.

In a press release, Governor Uzodinma emphasized the importance of enhancing revenue generation at IIRS under Okoye’s leadership to bolster the state government’s financial position.

Okoye is encouraged to utilize all available resources to improve the revenue generation capabilities of the agency.
