Gbolagade Akinpelu, widely known as “Ogun Majek” in the Nollywood industry, is reaching out to the public for assistance as his health continues to deteriorate.
An appeal for financial help was made by one of the actor’s sons, Akinpelu Akeem Abidemi.
Abidemi urged the inhabitants of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and all Nigerians to come forward and offer financial support for the treatment of his father, who has been battling an undisclosed illness for years.
He mentioned that their family has exhausted all available resources in trying to manage the situation, and they are now turning to the public for aid to prevent the loss of the ailing actor.
Abidemi also requested individuals from all religious backgrounds to keep his father in their prayers and to pray for the well-being of potential donors.
This plea comes after Yoruba actress Foluke Daramola Salako took to her Instagram page to seek donations from Nigerians for the actor’s medical expenses, and managed to secure some contributions through her foundation. She also disclosed that the ailing actor is currently undergoing treatment at an undisclosed medical facility.
