APC Chieftains Issue Warning to Oyo State Youths Against Protesting

In a recent event held in Ibadan, some prominent figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State cautioned the youths about the risks associated with protesting in the current climate.

Kolawole Raji and former House of Representatives members Muraina Ajibola, Dapo Lam, Sunday Adepoju, and Segun Odebunmi were among the APC leaders who engaged the young audience.

During their address, the APC representatives urged the youths to steer clear of the scheduled protest set for the following day, citing the perilous nature of protesting at this time in the state.

Raji, speaking on behalf of his peers, stressed the potential hazards linked with the planned demonstration.

He highlighted some of Tinubu’s accomplishments in areas such as local government autonomy, student loans, and infrastructure development.

Furthermore, he underscored that the purpose of engaging with the youths was to educate them on the perils associated with the protest.

“The objective of the meeting was to raise awareness among APC members about the potential negative outcomes of the planned protest and to discuss the current state of the nation.

“President Tinubu has faced significant challenges since assuming office but is dedicated to addressing them systematically.

“While we empathize with the populace and recognize the current hardships, we urge our fellow citizens to grant the president more time to steer Nigeria back on track.

“The issues we grumble about did not arise overnight; they evolved gradually. We firmly believe that Nigeria will flourish under President Bola Tinubu,” he remarked.
