Antonio Conte’s Arrival: Napoli to Keep Star Attacker Despite Interest

Amid Antonio Conte’s takeover at Napoli, the Italian club has confirmed their stance on the future of their top attacker, Georgia’s Khvicha “Kvara” Kvaratskhelia.

In a recent interview with Georgian paper Sport Imedi, the player’s agent expressed a desire to depart from Napoli, though the focus remains on the Euros at the moment.

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly keen on signing Kvaratskhelia as a replacement for the departed Kylian Mbappe, now with Real Madrid.

“We want to reiterate that Kvaratskhelia is under contract until June 2027,” stated Napoli in response to the player’s camp’s statement.

“Kvaratskelia is not available for transfer.

“Players’ agents do not have the authority to determine their destinations; Napoli holds that decision as long as they are under contract,” the statement continued.

Earlier, Napoli disclosed that Nigerian international Victor Osimhen would be departing the club this summer.
