Anthony Joshua's world title fight with Kubrat Pulev put back to October due to Coronavirus crisis

The world title fight between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev has been rescheduled to October due to the impact of the Coronavirus crisis, representing a potential obstacle to a much-anticipated clash with Tyson Fury in 2021. Originally slated for June 20 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the fight will now be postponed to a date between October and December due to the uncertainties surrounding the allowance and size of crowds at sporting events. Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, stated that they aim to narrow the time gap between fights, with a prospective matchup against Tyson Fury also on the cards for 2021.
