Anthony Joshua’s Reaction to Tyson Fury’s Prediction about Deontay Wilder

Anthony Joshua, the unified WBA, IBA, IBF, and IBO champion, has taunted Tyson Fury following Fury’s claim that undefeated heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder could knock out Joshua in just two rounds if they were to fight.

Last month, Fury also suggested the possibility of a stint with Conor McGregor in the UFC, claiming he had contacted McGregor to discuss it. However, McGregor contradicted this statement, saying that he had never spoken to Fury.

Responding to Fury’s prediction about Wilder knocking him out in two rounds, Joshua told Sky Sports, “That’s the same man that bet on Charles Martin to beat me, Joseph Parker to beat me. The first time I would’ve listened, but the second, third and fourth time you get it wrong, you start to realise that he’s a bit of a waffler.”

“Tyson Fury’s just doing what Tyson Fury does,” Joshua said. “He even said that he spoke to McGregor on the phone and that was a lie as well. So what can we believe when it comes to Tyson Fury these days?”
