Over the weekend, a fire outbreak at the Muna garage IDP camp in Borno state resulted in at least one fatality and numerous injuries.
According to NEMA, the fire was triggered by a kitchen in the emergency shelters set up in the camp. As a consequence of the fire outbreak, 1613 households have been displaced.
