Amber Rose has made it clear that she has no intentions of dating in the future, expressing her desire to be ‘single for the rest of my life.’
The 39-year-old TV personality revealed this during a recent episode of the Sofia With An F podcast.
She stated that dating is now ‘worse than ever’ and she no longer desires ‘to have sex’, following her ex, Alexander Edwards, confirming a romance with 76-year-old Cher, two months after their split.
The 36-year-old music executive and model’s relationship ended in August 2021, and they share a three-year-old son, Slash. Rose claimed that Edwards had been unfaithful with 12 different women at the time, a fact he later admitted.
During the podcast, she discussed her past relationships and expressed her reluctance to enter another relationship soon.
When it comes to dating again, she stated: ‘It’s worse than ever… men are pretty disgusting out here. They’re gross. Like, I wanna be single for the rest of my life.’
Furthermore, she explained, ‘I don’t want to share my house or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone around my kids,’ referring to her sons Slash and Sebastian, 9, from her marriage to Wiz Khalifa.
‘I don’t want to have sex… It’s so gross. I don’t want it,’ she added, emphasizing her contentment with being alone.
Reflecting on her future, she indicated that men no longer express interest in her, and if she were to ever enter a relationship again, she would not tolerate any manipulation of her life and well-being.
Amber stressed the importance of establishing a friendship first and getting to know people better before pursuing a romantic relationship.
Amid the discussion, she also touched on her past relationships, including her marriage to Wiz Khalifa which ended in divorce due to ‘irreconcilable differences.’
She mentioned that despite the infidelity that led to their divorce, she and Wiz Khalifa are now the best of friends.
Following her divorce, Amber had romantically linked to rapper 21 Savage and actor/musician Machine Gun Kelly. She also dated Kanye West in the past.
Regarding her relationship with Kanye, she commented, ‘I think people like to ask about my relationship with Kanye, but it was 13 years ago,’ stressing its irrelevance in her current personal life.
Her relationship with Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, which began in 2018, ended in August 2021. After their split, Amber expressed her heartbreak and frustration on Instagram, alleging his infidelities with 12 women.
Shortly after her claims, Edwards admitted to the infidelities during an Instagram Live with DJ Big Von.
Addressing the rumors, he stated, ‘I got caught before, you know? And she’s just had enough, obviously.’ He also expressed his love for Amber and his reluctance to curb his natural inclination towards multiple relationships.
Since November 2022, Edwards has been romantically linked to singer Cher, who is forty years his senior.
