Alleged Fraudster Arrested in Banana Island, Ikoyi with Fake $10,100, Ferrari, and Phones Recovered from the UK

An individual known as Mark Obisesan was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for being found in possession of suspected counterfeit traveler’s checks amounting to $10,100.

 

Aside from the aforementioned fake checks, a Ferrari 488 automobile, two iPhones, one Samsung phone, a laptop, and various ATM cards were seized from the suspect, who had previously served a 12-month prison sentence for online fraud in the United Kingdom.

 

Obisesan, who was accused of lacking any identifiable means of income by the anti-corruption agency, was detained at his residence in Banana Island, Lagos.

 

The suspect has since been granted provisional bail. His bail conditions can be seen below;
