Alleged Bullying Incident Prompts Police Response at Abuja Lead British School

Responding to reports of alleged bullying involving a 16-year-old student named Namtira Bwala at Leads British International School in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command has taken action.

Confirmed by the FCT Police Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh in a brief statement released to NewsNow, officers were dispatched to the school premises following a viral video depicting a disturbing incident of a student bullying and slapping a fellow student.

In order to prevent any potential disturbance of peace, Josephine Adeh stated that the command had deployed experienced officers to conduct investigations at the school.

The statement highlighted, “In response to public concerns raised about videos circulating on social media showing instances of student bullying at the mentioned school, the FCT Police Command is actively addressing the situation by sending trained officers to the school for inquiries and to prevent any potential disorder.”
