Alhaji Atiku Accuses Tinubu’s Government of Ignoring Transparency Issues

Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration for consistently disregarding transparency concerns.

According to Atiku, Tinubu’s government has a history of neglecting due process in public governance.

On a social media post, the former Vice President highlighted the unresolved $3.3 billion NNPCL loan as proof of corruption within Tinubu’s leadership.

Atiku stated, “The current federal administration has a shameful reputation of overlooking transparency and due process in public governance.

“The lingering $3.3 billion NNPCL loan repayment scandal, resulting in Nigeria facing a $12 billion repayment, is a clear example.

“The onus is on the Tinubu administration to transparently handle these high-profile corruption incidents.

“The National Assembly is mandated by the constitution to legislate for the nation’s peace, order, and good governance, without collaborating with corrupt individuals.

“Failing to do so and continuing in denial would only confirm the government’s involvement in official misconduct. -AA”
