On Sunday, October 2, a group of disgruntled governors from the Peoples Democratic Party gathered in Enugu to strategize their next steps.
These governors, who are pressing for the ousting of the party’s National chairman, Iyiorcha Ayu, held the meeting shortly after the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, met with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State in Abuja a few days prior
The attendees of the meeting included Governors Wike, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and the host, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
