Adeboye visits Uzodimma, assures him of divine intervention over security challenges (photos)

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, visited the Government House, EXCO Chamber, Owerri, Imo State today, where he met with His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. During the visit, Pastor Adeboye expressed his belief in God’s intervention to address the security challenges in Nigeria.

Pastor Adeboye stated that the current issues facing Nigeria are beyond human comprehension, and he assured the Governor that divine intervention is real and inevitable. He mentioned that his team and members have been fasting and praying for the restoration of the land. Additionally, he revealed that God directed him to visit areas across Nigeria where darkness seemed to overshadow light, leading to his visit to Imo for a prayer session.

The purpose of his visit was not only to physically touch the lands and places where darkness seemed to prevail but also to proclaim and decree the strength of God on those places. He emphatically stated, “With the visit, South East from henceforth, there must be light.”

Governor Uzodimma welcomed Pastor Adeboye and his team, considering it a privilege to host such an anointed man of God. He expressed belief that the visit would bring peace, unity, and stability to Imo State and the South East region, which are essential for progress and development, especially during the current challenges the country is facing.

Governor Uzodimma assured Pastor Adeboye of the support of the people and government of Imo State to make his visit a success. He also prayed for God’s protection over the visiting team and their efforts to address insecurity in Nigeria.

The visit was attended by prominent figures, including the Chairman of CAN, Imo State Chapter, Rev. Dr. Eches Divine Eches, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Barr. Nnamadi Anyaehie, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. COC Akaolisa, as well as the member representing Okigwe South in the National Assembly Hon. Chike Okafor, among other political leaders from Imo State.
